What a difference a day makes!
Our 110 days until completion clock has started ticking as of Wednesday the 15th. Quite surprised at what the framers accomplished on just the first day. Sill plate and seal has been installed around the entire block wall. Basement poles, main support beams, floor joists and floor decking is complete. They have also begun building many of the wall sections for my garage. Yes... I said MY garage.
With all of the stress of getting the foundation in (see previous posts), the experience to date has not been very fun or exciting. But today standing on the deck, I admit to feeling excited. It now seems like a real house and not just a mud hole. Special thanks to our field manager for addressing a couple issues that popped up this morning
